  Vacuum Tube Guitar Amplifiers
All guitar amplification is based around a single point of reference: the harmonic-rich sound of a high quality tube amp. Thus, the flagship line of Stinger guitar amplification is naturally the Stinger Valve series. These amplifiers offer the maximum in tone, dependability, and versatility. For reliability, purpose-built output transformers are used, along with only the best Russian-made tubes. For versatility, four gain stages, each with a different gain capacity and frequency emphasis, are built into two channels with independent EQ facilities and level controls. Spring reverb units are included, and the effect loops offer a level switch for use with older analog effects or modern digital effect units. To round them all off, the channels, gain stages and reverb are foot-switchable with silent-switching. This design is common to all three Stinger Valve amps. The STP100HV, is a 100-Watt head version to top off the stack most guitarists dream of. The STP 50VR is a 50-Watt version housed in an open-back cabinet with a purpose-built, 12” speaker, and, new to the series is a full-blown STP 100HV in a combo with twin 12” speakers, the STP 100VRT. These models are the pinnacle of tone and features, and the point of reference for the sound of the entire Stinger guitar amp line.
  On-Board Effect Amplifiers
Amplifiers that do more than just amplify… Need a little delay to fatten up your attacks? Need some reverb that doesn’t sound like a spring? Need whirling, psychoweirdness? Don’t want a tangle of pedals to trip over and buy batteries for? New for 2005, Stinger introduces a series of stereo guitar amplifiers that give more than just power and great tone. We’ve incorporated the latest 24 x 32 bit digital effects engine into two combos, to give you 256 advanced effects algorithms to spice up your sound. Add these to the already exceptionally versatile preamps of the Stinger pro guitar combos, and you have a bottomless grab-bag of sounds to choose from. This is available in two combos, the substantial, concert-ready ST P100GSD with 2 x 50 Watts of power and two 12-inch speakers, and the more manageable ST P50GSD with 2 x 25 Watts and two 10-inch speakers. Don’t want to even hear the word “digital” ? Fine. Stinger also has two stereo combos with spring reverb, and good old warm, analog chorus: The massive ST P200GSC, the largest, most powerful guitar combo in the line, with 2 x 100 Watts and two 12-inch speakers; and the ST P50GSC, a scaled down but still considerable combo with two 10” speakers and 2 x 25 Watts of power. All of these offer external speaker outputs which you can run to the switchable stereo ST P212G or the immense ST P412G.
  Professional Guitar Heads and Cabinets
The Stinger pro series includes two high-powertop-boxes that, along with three gain stages and two independently equalized channels, offer every single feature that a working guitarist needs: foot-switchable internal reverb, level controlled effect loop, line output, and foot-switchable channels and gain stages. The STP 100H offers 100 Watts RMS—as much power as any guitarist would ever need on any size stage—while the STP 200H offers twice as much—for those guitarists who want twice as much as they will ever need on any size stage. To compliment either of these two heads, the STP 412G is the perfect guitar cabinet. If a 4x12 cabinet will not fi t in your car (or even your apartment),the new ST P212G is the ideal companion to the ST P100H. Both of these cabinets are switchable 2 x 8 Ohms Stereo (to use as extensions to the Stinger stereo combos) or mono 16 or 4 Ohms, making them the most versatile cabinets available.
  Professional Guitar Combos
Not every professional guitarist needs a massive stack to do what he needs to do. In fact, the convenience, and mobility of combo amplifiers are sometimes the first choice of many working players, whose day to day gigs often don’t offer enough stage space for a large head and cabinet. The Stinger professional combo amps range from the formidable100 Watt, full featured STP 100GOR to the 20-Watt studio amplifier STP 20GO. Whether you require a combo that will “fill up the club” a great sounding, small amplifier for your home studio, or anything in between, there is a Stinger combo designed for you. All of the Stinger professional combos feature enameled front and rear panels, detachable mains cables, heavy-duty ply cabinets, matching gold corners and hardware and all but the smallest studio model feature gold, machined aluminium knobs.
  Professional Bass Heads and Cabinets
For 2005, Stinger takes bass amplification to another level with the high-powered, full-featured ST P600HB and a series of concert-ready cabinets. This new head gives you a choice of tube or solid-state preamps with pre-emphasis tone controls, a foot-switchable 3 band parametric EQ, a foot-switchable, level-controlled, parallel effects loop, a level-controlled, PRE- or POST-EQ balanced direct out, a dedicated tuner output, dual-fan cooling, thermal and over-current protection, and 600 Watts RMS of power. To accompany this ultra-professional head, Stinger gives you the choice of three extended bass cabinets to choose from or combine: the deep-back 4 x 10”, tuned bass-refl ex ST P410EB with a tweeter, the large format 1 x 15”, Celestion®-loaded ST P115EB and, for those who really need to shake the earth, the massive ST P118EB with a custom-made 18-inch speaker in a bass-reflex configuration.
  Professional Bass Combos
The Stinger Pro Bass series also includes five combos designed to give professional features in portable packages. The ST P150B is a 150-Watt combo version of the STP300HB head with a built in 15-inch driver and a piezo tweeter. Adding an external 8 Ohm speaker, this combo will put out 200 Watts RMS. The ST P75B is designed to be the ultimate in facilities for a mid-sized stage amp or studio amp. The compressor and equalizer are foot-switchable, there is a pre- or post EQ balanced output with a level control, an effect loop with input and output level controls, adjustable pre-shape and input gain controls…the works. In stand-alone operation it puts out 75 watts RMS to a 15-inch driver and, add an external 8 Ohm or 4 Ohm cabinet for 100-Watts RMS total output. The ST P50B has just enough power for recording studio and offers straightforward controls. It’s equipped with high and low gain inputs, pre-shape, a three-band EQ, and a presence booster. It’s deep cabinet gives it excellent low-end for a very portable combo. For rehearsals and home studios, we designed the ST P25B to give you all the body needed for small applications, with professional sound and construction. Theses combos are all housed in tuned, heavy-duty enclosures loaded with purpose- built speakers protected by sturdy, metal grills.
  Basic Combos
While the professional series amplifiers are designed to the highest specifications of performance and construction, the Stinger team kept in mind the student, the hobbyist and the weekend-warrior musician as well. These three guitar combos and two bass combos are designed for those players who simply need great tone in a reliable package for playing alone or with the band. These straightforward combos use the same excellent tone circuitry of the pro series amps so, even in the practice room or your bedroom, you can get all the sound you need for writing your future mega-hit or just working on your chops. The Basic series combos have been redesigned for 2005 with better sound, speakers, and aesthetics to be even more like their Pro Series big brothers and to give you even better value in a small package.
  Compact P.A. and Acoustic Amplification
One of the most problematic pieces of necessary equipment for the working musician is a self-sufficient means of amplifying vocals. For small engagements, an artist may have to rent a PA system— which could represent a financial deficit on a small gig. Stinger offers two solutions to this. The ST P100PA portable PA system comprises a four-channel, powered mixer and two speaker enclosures. Each channel of the mixer has balanced and an unbalanced input, gain, tone, and individual reverb/effect sends. The MIC inputs offer +15 V phantom power, for condenser microphones. The Master section features a 3 band EQ, an external effect loop, and internal reverb unit. For the human jukebox performer instead, the ST P75ASC puts a full-featured acoustic guitar combo and a vocal mic amp all in one package. With it’s 2 x 37W stereo output, mic pre-amp, and perfectly tailored acoustic/electric guitar channel, it is purpose-built for the one-man-band. The guitar channel offers a 3 band EQ with a mid sweep, and a switchable chorus with rate and depth controls. There are separate reverb sends for guitar and microphone, and the master section offers a 5 band graphic EQ. There is even an input for a CD player or other source, for working with recorded rhythm tracks. All of this is in an attractive, portable combo with two 10” woofers with co-axial tweeters.
